Healing is not a formula, but a Person: Jesus. Pastor Jeremie shares five observations about the whole-making faith of the woman with the issue of blood, who touched the hem of Jesus' garment and was made whole. Matthew 9:20-22 says that she pursued Jesus, and pressed through a crowd to get within reach of Him. She spoke within herself words of faith that, by His power, she shall be made whole. She came from behind, touched the hem of His garment, and was made whole from that hour. Jesus Christ - the same yesterday, today and forever - still heals & makes people whole today.

We've heard it said that familiarity breeds contempt. This is true in our relationships with one another & with God. In this message, Pastor Jeremie teaches us that familiarity has the power to rob us of the grace of God, just as it did 2,000 years ago during Christ's earthly ministry (Luke 4:16-22). We guard against familiarity with God by honoring Him as eternally holy & glorious - never treating Him as common or mundane. The flame of God in our hearts is fueled by perpetual sacrifices of praise & thanksgiving that we offer unto Him for all He has done & for who He is. God ignites the flame; it's our job to keep it adequately fueled & perpetually burning (Leviticus 6:8-13 & 9:24).

In this message, Pastor Jeremie talks about the importance of walking in the Spirit, which simply means walking out the Word of God in our daily lives by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the both the Son of God and the Living Word, yet Philippians 2:6-7 tells us that Jesus emptied Himself of His deity and humbled Himself by becoming the Son of Man, while still remaining totally God. Everything Jesus did during His ministry on earth, He did by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Jesus truly is the Sample Son, the only begotten Son of God. His life demonstrates to every adopted son of God how to walk on earth as He did.

God reveals Himself to us through His written Word, the Bible. We love His Word. We read & study His Word. We memorize His Word. We meditate on His Word day & night. But our objective isn't merely to know the Bible - it's to know the Author of the Bible. God's Word reveals His nature, His character & His plan of salvation, healing & deliverance to the whole man: spirit, soul & body. The Holy Spirit breathes on God's Word inside our hearts, so that His Word becomes light & life to our spirit. In Mark 4:1-23 Jesus tells us God's Word is a seed & that is planted within man's heart. When man's heart is good soil, it bears fruit - up to 100 fold. Satan comes immediately to steal the Word from our heart, so we have to guard against that. Also, Jesus warns us not to hide the flickering candle of God's Word under a bushel (where it would suffocate & go out), or under our beds (where it is out of sight/out of mind). Jesus wants us to set it on a candlestick - make it central in our hearts - so that by the light of God's Word we see all things. God's Word is Living Light! Psalm 36:9 says, "...in Thy light, we see light." The Word of God, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, gives us more than sufficient light to know God & to walk uprightly before God & man - not just on Sunday, but on Monday, too!

In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus gives us one spiritual truth that has the supernatural power to release Heaven on earth in our lives. Believers who consistently practice this one spiritual truth walk in authority and cross-over into their Promised Land, while believers who do not consistently practice this one spiritual truth seem to never escape the wilderness of defeat in specific areas of their lives. What is this one spiritual truth? It's knowing what God is saying about you, your life and your circumstances, and using your mouth to verbally express your agreement with God's Word. There are mountains (or problems) that we speak to by faith in our God-given authority, and they obey. There are also things in prayer that we ask God for by faith, and we expect to receive. Either way, we refuse to be silent when we have a Word from God to agree with. This one spiritual truth is this: staying fixed on what God is saying, and rather than being silent, we use our mouth to agree with God! When we speak up by faith, we release the supernatural power of God into our lives and situations to do the impossible!

Matthew 21:10 says all of Jerusalem was moved when Jesus entered the city, riding upon a colt that had been loosed - it had no strings attached. Since then, entire cities & nations have been moved when King Jesus once again rode in upon vessels of honor - mighty men & women of God who had no strings attached. Today, Jesus still looses people into their divine purposes. Common vessels are transformed into vessels of honor because of what - or Who - they carry. We have been summoned by God to be carriers & couriers of Jesus Christ. Therefore, let us lay aside every impediment, & allow Jesus to ride in upon us, that even today, entire cities & nations would be moved for the glory of God.
